Cerrejón reports that its operations are respectful of Colombian legislation, including the decree issued by the Government of President Gustavo Petro regarding exports to Israel. We categorically reject all accusations contained in the UN Special Rapporteur's report on Palestine, which we consider unfounded and lacking legal basis.

Regarding the allegations of lack of occupational safety, we reaffirm that Cerrejón provides dignified, formal, and high-quality employment and has rigorous systems in place for the prevention, reporting, and treatment of occupational illnesses, in line with current regulations. In addition, we participate openly and actively in the inspection and oversight processes led by the competent authorities.
We regret that value judgments and biased accusations have been made, which negatively impact the reputation of thousands of workers who, with commitment and professionalism, carry out their duties in an industry that is key to the economic and social development of La Guajira and the country. Cerrejón reiterates its commitment to the well-being of its workers, transparency, and accountability in its operations.
