July 21, 2025Cerrejón informs that our operations are respectful of Colombian legislation, including the decree issued by President Gustavo Petro's Administration on exports to Israel. We categorically reject all allegations in the report made by the UN Rapporteur on Palestine and consider them to be without any foundation and legally groundless.

Regarding the allegations on lack of job safety, we reaffirm that Cerrejón generates decent, formal, quality employment and has rigorous systems for the prevention, reporting, and treatment of occupational diseases, in line with current regulations. Furthermore, we openly and actively participate in inspection and surveillance processes led by the competent authorities.

We regret that value judgments and biased accusations are being made, affecting the reputation of thousands of workers who, with commitment and professionalism, carry out their work in an industry that is key to the economic and social development of La Guajira and the country.

Cerrejón reiterates its commitment to the well-being of its workers, transparency, and accountability in its operations.
