Cerrejón condemns threats against journalists and civil servants in La Guajira
As in the past with similar situations, Cerrejón wishes to publicly express how disturbed we are about the recent threats, in the form of pamphlets, aimed at journalists in Albania, Manaure and Barrancas, which has been reported by regional news outlets, and how sincerely we condemn these types of acts.

At Cerrejón, we welcome the interest and concern which non-governmental organisations have shown for the welfare of communities in La Guajira, particularly in these difficult and unprecedented times when it is essential to come together to prevent a crisis of even greater magnitude.
Fundación Cerrejón participa en Expoartesano 2019
The Cerrejón Foundation (with the support of Artesanías de Colombia) sponsored ten Wayuu and Wiwa indigenous communities partnered in our Artisan Strengthening program to participate in the Expoartesano fair in Medellín. It is the second-largest fair in the country.

On June 7, 2018, we, the companies listed here (Drummond LTD, Cerrejón, Grupo Prodeco and Cnr), issued a joint statement in which we expressed our reiterated rejection of the threats against the life and integrity of people in our areas of operation, and we reproach any act that seeks to undermine the right to participation and expression.
